LANGKAWI, NOVEMBER 19, 2019 - Berjaya Langkawi Resort (BLR) has recently participated in the launching of Malaysian Food Promotion organised by Langkawi’s Hotels and Restaurants in conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2020 (VM2020) at Cenang. The program was officiated by the Malaysian Tourism Promotion Board Director General Datuk Musa Hj Yusof. Also present was the General Manager of Berjaya Langkawi Resort, Mr. Zaharudin Abdul Jalil.
At the launching, the food and beverage team of Berjaya Langkawi Resort setup an exhibition booth to showcase “Rendang Ayam Gunung Mat Chincang”, one of the Malaysian delicacies, to international travellers.
A total of 150 guests were present to explore the variety of local delicacies, followed by numerous exhibition booths from various hotels and restaurants in Langkawi. BLR received great response from tourists who came to the exhibition booth to taste the delicacies.
In conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2020 (VM2020) campaign, BLR is committed in supporting the initiatives of the Ministry of Tourism in promoting the Visit Malaysia Year 2020. It is a shared desire by the resort to ensure that the Visit Malaysia 2020 campaign is a great success by showcasing and sharing the beauty, peace and wonders of the country.
