JOURNEY THROUGH THE ASIAN CONTINENT WITH ASIA FOOD FESTIVAL 2019 @ BERJAYA TIMES SQUARE HOTEL, KUALA LUMPUR

We had our Asia Food Festival recently and it is an event all about travel throughout the mystical Asia through a gastronomic journey at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur with Asia Food Festival 2019 that is happening from 14th June 2019 until 14th July 2019 (6.00pm – 10.00pm). This festival which are no doubt will be a good “plate-form” to feature some of the best dishes in Asian cuisine that ranging from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Philippines, Japan, India and Cambodia which a key ingredient that makes Asian food authentically special and exquisite.
Asian food is not only delicious in taste but also rather good for health; one of the differences between traditional Asian foods, compared to many other cuisines is that they are not typically as processed as western food usually is and the ingredients are typically more natural and grown without the use of very many chemicals. This means less intervention and natural growth, which makes the end result better for our health and less saturated with processed fats and carbohydrates.
In terms of style of cooking, Asian cuisine includes a strong emphasis on lightly prepared dishes with a strong aromatic component that features such flavors as citrus and herbs such as lime, coriander/cilantro and basil. One of the methods of cooking that is unique for these cuisines is that they use a mixture of salt and sugar in our foods; compared to most cooking methods as these ingredients usually work against each other, if mixed in the right amounts and with the right ingredients and meats, the mixture can provide a unique taste that is distinguishable from each of the Asia’s food servings. Hence one each of the food is specialized and unique on its own.
Over at Big Apple Restaurant, we cooked up a scrumptious spread of Asian cuisines. The buffet spread serves a sumptuous buffet dinner delicacies with an endless choice of more than 150 gourmet delights.
Besides indulging in a sumptuous spread, patrons will be entertained with numerous cultural activities which include Teh Tarik & Flying Roti Canai performance during dinner, and daily cultural dance performance.
